Footloose & Tuition Free

Our names are Tom and Liz.  We retired in 2019.  Liz was a law professor for 35 years.  Tom has had many careers as an engineer, small business owner and, most recently, as a high school math and science teacher.  We started this blog in 2012 when we were on sabbatical.  Our kids had graduated from college, we wanted to celebrate Liz’s weight loss and keep our families and friends updated on the fantastic travel adventure we were undertaking! Since then we have walked the Camino Frances, the Camino Primitivo, the Haervejen (from Viborg to Padborg), several stages of the Camino Real (the California Mission Walk), The Camino Vasco del Interior, the Camino de Invierno and worked as hospitaleros at a hostel in Spain .  Along the way, Liz had a total ankle replacement and Tom had two discs in his neck replaced — but we are still walking and travelling.  Come with us!
